Assembling a 150 Ton Low Loader

Our specially engineered machinery can range in all shapes and forms. Working across several industries, our equipment has the ability to streamline operations and workloads.

Loadquip is proud to operate in Brisbane, where our team assembles our industry leading designs, making them ready for working order.

This short time-lapse video showcases the progress on assembly of our latest 150 ton low loaders. Our low loaders are fabricated from high-strength steel, welded according to Australian Standards with regular NDT testing to guarantee that the structure is free from defects.

Careful attention to sequencing of welds and support of the structure in a custom assembly jig is required to ensure weld shrinkage doesn’t result in unacceptable distortion of the entire framework.

This fabrication phase will continue over the next few months. Although there’s not much to see at this early stage, stay tuned for more videos as we complete this assembly.
